Creamy and rich avocado with simple and flavorful aromatics.
- 3 large Hass avocados
- ½ small red onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 lime
- ½ bunch cilantro, chopped finely
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- Halve and scoop the flesh from the avocados into a bowl. Mash with a large fork or potato masher until there are no large chunks of avocado.
- In a mortar and pestle, combine diced onion, garlic, and kosher salt. Mash until a paste is formed. Ensure that each piece has been thoroughly bruised. Mash your aromatic paste into the avocado.
- Juice the limes into the guacamole and finally add the cilantro. Mix or mash until smooth and serve.
