Creamy and rich avocado with simple and flavorful aromatics.
Ingredients
3 large Hass avocados
½ small red onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 lime
½ bunch cilantro, chopped finely
1 tsp kosher salt
Directions
Halve and scoop the flesh from the avocados into a bowl. Mash with a large fork or potato masher until there are no large chunks of avocado.
In a mortar and pestle, combine diced onion, garlic, and kosher salt. Mash until a paste is formed. Ensure that each piece has been thoroughly bruised. Mash your aromatic paste into the avocado.
Juice the limes into the guacamole and finally add the cilantro. Mix or mash until smooth and serve.
